A great wine is a unique expression of a particular time and place. The Specialyst beautifully captures the distinctive terroir and heritage of Lodi’s best Zinfandel vineyards. For this brand, we created a story of a night horseman who bends the moonlight and serenades the grapes.  He’s an alchemist, transforming natural elements into a supernatural wine. 

We worked with noted woodcut artist to bring the Specialyst story to life. The illustration makes up the primary brand visual and is supported by a minimalist logotype and monogram. Deep blue, black and a kick of red make an appropriate color palette for this dark Zinfandel.
