LOMA BREWING CO.

Named after the mountain range than runs through the town of Los Gatos, Loma Brewing Company is the creation of baseball star Kevin Youkilis. We developed naming, branding, packaging and environmental graphics for the brewery launch. The cat logo is both a nod to the town name as well as the biker gangs, who in years past, would ride through on their way over the mountains to the California coast. 

The heart of the branding is displayed in a shield emblem that includes a biker-cat etching with a stylized retro logo and typography. The chunky slab serif font and an iconic palette of navy, gold and black define the brewery’s old town location.
