As part of a limited edition series of beers for Anchor Brewing, we created packaging for their Mexican-style lager, San Pancho, a nickname for the city. This packaging veered from Anchor’s historic approach but captured some of the trends in the market. We developed a mural style illustration for the can that included elements found in the Mexican culture of San Francisco including the Mission of Saint Francis, wild parrots and various Aztec elements. 

The San Pancho brand elements include a colorful mural by a Mexican illustrator, line art spot drawings and vintage-inspired typography.
